These filters protect the eyes against infrared radiation and hot metal spatter. The filters have different shade levels depending on the hazard, i.e. average temperature of the light sources.

ReS-FP filters protect the eyes against:

• infrared radiation;
• spatter of molten metals, e.g. grey cast iron

(the filters do not prevent molten aluminium from sticking);

• penetration of hot solids through the filter;
• high-speed particles.

The filter should be used together with a suitable frame.
